The National Veterans Day Run is about honoring the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces of the United States. In an attempt to remove any financial barriers for veterans to participate in the race, we offer all veterans and active-duty military and their families a reduced-rate entry into the race. Your participation allows us to offer this very special rate to this very special group of people.
The National Veterans Day Race offers several ways for walkers and runners to show your gratitude to our veterans, who have sacrificed for our freedom. Here are a few:
Veterans and active-duty military along with their immediate family members pay a special reduced-rate entry fee — our way to thank them for their sacrifices, and honor them during the National Veterans Day Run.
We hope you'll join us for the 2013 National Veterans Day Run. You will have the opportunity to run with these honorable men and women during the race and express your appreciation for their sevice as you run along the course with them. We encourage participants to take a moment and say, "Thank you for what you've done!" Small gestures mean a lot to those who have sacrificed so much.
