This race is your opportunity to make a difference for our men and women who have served our country! Join with other other runners and walkers nationwide on one special day dedicated to honoring our military veterans: 11-11-12.

The National Veterans Day Race offers several ways for walkers and runners to help and honor our veterans nationwide. Here are a few:

• Donate or raise funds for a worthy veterans' cause
• Symbolize your gratitude to our veterans, who have sacrificed for our freedom by donating $11 so we can give a Veteran an $11 entry to the race
• Show appreciation for the veterans running alongside you who have fought for your community
• Receive a special pin, t-shirt and finisher's medal to memorialize a unique day in history

Veterans and active-duty military pay a special reduced $11 entry fee — our way to thank them for their sacrifices, and honor them during the National Veterans Day Run.

You will have the warm opportunity to run with these honorable men and women during the race and show your appreciation for their sevice as you run along the course with them. We encourage participants to take a moment and say, "Thank you for what you've done!" Small gestures mean a lot to those who have sacrificed so much.
