Here's How You Can Get Involved!

Sign Up to Walk or Run!

100% of the basic registration fee for the walk will be donated to a national Veterans charity (if you sign up for the Plus or Premium walk, the amount of the basic registration will be donated to the Charity with the balance used to purchase your upgraded ammenities). This charity has been chosen by a panel of active-duty and retired military officers and will be announced before the race. Registration fees from the 11k are used to offset race expenses and any additional funds are put into a pool that is used to offer reduced-rate registration fees of $11 to all military personnel and Veterans.

Volunteer!

Any event such as this cannot take place without an army of volunteers. If you would be interested in volunteering for this race, please click here to go to the volunteer page.

Organize a Run/Walk in your City/Neighborhood

Would you like to host a National Veterans Day run/walk in your hometown or neighborhood? If so, we'd love to help you. The first step is to register for the Virtual Race by using the "Virtual" link to the right. There is an option to order promotional materials, which includes 100 postcards, 200 tri-fold fliers and 2 event posters. The cost for the materials is $15. If you need a larger order of materials, please contact us directly. Once you have 10 runners/walkers signed up in your city, please contact us and we'll post information about your event on our website. If you pull together 100 or more runners/walkers before the end of October, we'll include your city on the back of our official finisher's t-shirt!

Donate $11 for a Veteran Reduced-rate Entry

During the registration process, you will be given an opportunity to donate $11 to a Veteran. We are offering a reduced-rate entry to all Veterans of $11. Your $11 match will make it possible for us to offer this rate to as many Veterans as possible!

Say Thank You!

Veterans will be wearing a special bib that will be announced before the start of the run/walk. As you are out there on the course, please take a moment to say "Thank you for what you've done!" Small gestures often mean a lot to those who have sacrificed so much.
