This run is virtual for those not able to run in one of our official cities. You may run individually or put together a group to participate in your own hometown.
Virtual National Veterans Day Run
The inaugural Virtual National Veterans Day Run is perfect for individuals that are not able to participate in one of our official event cities and also for those deployed overseas! The great news is that you will receive all the goodies as our other runners - an 11-11-11 National Veterans Day Run cotton t-shirt, race bib, collector's pin and lanyard. If you complete and log your run, you will receive also receive a finisher's certificate online. You may also add a Naitonal Veterans Day finisher's medal for just $8. We will also post locations of un-official events at this website, so please check back often. Also, please send us the pictures of your event as well so we can post them on our website!

11k Timed Race or 1-mile healthy walk

Race Details
We recommend either an 11k or a 1-mile healthy walk for this event. You will participate in this run on your own, without assitance from the National Veterans Day Run and then log your distance and time into our system when you finish. All runners/walkers will receive the following:
* Cotton finisher's t-shirt
* Race bib
* Mailed Registration packets
* 1" commemoritive collector's (shown right)
* Finisher's Certificate
Event Packets
Event packets will be mailed the week before the race. Please make sure you register with a valid mailing address during the registration process. Instructions on how to log your race and obtain your finisher's certificate will be included with the race packet.

Finisher's Medal
If you are interested in getting a finisher's medal to be mailed after you log your run on 11-11-11, please add the medal during the registration process. The cost is $8 and includes shipping.
If you have already registered and would like to add the finisher's medal to your current registration, please find the registration number or ID in your email confirmation letter. You may upgrade more than one registration by entering the quantity and then adding your registration in the Reg # or ID box:
Veterans and Active Duty Military
As a way of saying thank you for your service to our Country, Veterans and all active-duty military personnel will receive an $11 entry into the 11k timed run or 1-mile walk. Please choose the Veterans or Active-duty military option during registration and enter your branch and dates of service for the discount.
Organize a Run/Walk in your City/Neighborhood
Would you like to host a National Veterans Day run/walk in your hometown or neighborhood? If so, we'd love to help you. The first step is to register for the Virtual Race by using the link above. There is an option to order promotional materials, which includes 100 postcards, 200 tri-fold fliers and 2 event posters. The cost for the materials is $11. If you need a larger order of materials, please contact us directly. Once you have 10 runners/walkers signed up in your city, please contact us and we'll post information about your event on our website. If you pull together 100 or more runners/walkers before the end of October, we'll include your city on the back of our official finisher's t-shirt!
Race Day Schedule
The race day schedule is up to the event organizer in your city, or if you would like to participate as an individual, the schedule is entirely up to you! You just must complete the run on 11-11-11.
